This was made for me as a wedding gift. I love this thing. It has words of wisdom and bible versus to support the words of wisdom on it. It was made for me by a coworker. She had all my coworkers contribute if they wanted to. It really means a lot to me. I was asked by a coworker to take some pictures for her. She is wanting to make something similar for a friend.

I opted to go down and buy lunch today, I got a salad from Cafe Esprit. I love their taco salads...but I digress. When I got in the elevator to go down I noticed there was a sign saying that there was a bake sale on the 13th floor from 12-2. Luck just so has it that it was noon. So on my way back up from getting my salad I went to check it out.

They had tons of stuff. Cakes, cookies, rice crispy treats, cup cakes...you get the idea. Well they had these super cute Oreo balls that looked like pumpkins! I had to buy them! I even sweet talked them into giving me the recipe!! I plan on making them either tomorrow or this weekend.

Carter Blood Care comes and holds blood donations in the lobby of my building every 2 months. I go every time. I like knowing I helped to save someone else.

Well today did not go well. I got in the chair and they went to stick me and she messed it up...BAD. I got into the chair and she went to stick me. Well she didn't put it in my vein only the skin. Somehow she nicked the vein or something and blood was everywhere. This is what my arm looked like 3 hours later...

I won this cook book from Sherri over at Everything in Moderation! I would have had it a lot faster if I had given her the correct apartment number! I am special! But it found its way to me and I am so excited to use it! It is a cookbook for giving gifts in a jar cookies!!! I am so excited!!

My Mom is moving into a new apartment and it is smaller than what she currently has. Why do I tell you this? So you understand why she is giving me her grandmothers, my Great Grandmothers, items. The first is a teacup and saucer.

My cousin, the one who just got married, was in a bad car accident today. She is going to be ok but is really banged up. Her lower left leg is broke in 2 places as is her sacrum. They have done surgery to repair the breaks. She is not allowed to put any weight on the leg for at least 3 months. God was with her!

As you all know my older sister is expecting. When she was pregnant with Jack I bought her a parents to be ornament. In keeping with tradition I wanted to get her one for this baby. It took me a while to find the right one because I wanted one that included my nephew in it. Here is what I found.

I had their names put along the bottom and the year on the star. I cant wait to give it to her!!

Today Mom, Granny, and I left Texas and headed to Tennessee for a couple different reasons. We brought Granny home and then my cousin is getting married on 10/03/09! I lived here from the time I was in 4th grade through 10th grade. I have not been back for a visit since 2003!!

When my old friends found out I was coming back they were excited! We met up for dinner tonight! It was wonderful! We ate at TGIFriday's in Rivergate. We had dinner and talked for a couple of hours before heading home. I am hoping to see them again before I leave on Monday.

Well today was a super busy day! I did a Trash The Dress photo shoot today!! The Fabulous Lynn Michelle took the pictures! You will be able to see some of them on The Today Show on Monday October 5!! There was 4 of us that trashed our dresses together today. Mandy, Allison,Shannon, and I all did it together! We got on some 4 wheelers, took them through the mud, then jumped into the lagoon! It was awesome! I cant wait to see the pictures nor can I wait to see the segment on THE TODAY SHOW!!! Set your DVR's for Monday October 5 for the 7am hour! Here are some pictures from today.

Moving Day!! I am so happy to be all moved in! The move went very well!

The movers called and wanted to come early, of course I said yes! They got here around 9 and had everything moved over by 1:30. Tammy and I went over to the old apt and got it cleaned and ready to be turned in by 2!

The rest of the day I worked on unpacking while Dad set up the TV's so Verizon Fio's could be installed!

While I was not unpacking I was sitting on my patio enjoying the view!

I got to the hospital to visit Johnny today and he is weaning like a champ! I even took a picture of his vent screen to prove it! I love seeing the CPAP words on this screen when I walk in! It can make my day when I have had the worst day ever! I cant wait until I get the call that he is being taken off the vent! That my friends will be a glorious day!!

Well Johnny had another surgery today. Due to this Barbara, Nona, Paul, and Connie came in town. My apartment was crowded but it was nice for Johnny to have most of his children here. The surgery was done and we left the hospital around 2. We went to Razzo's for some lunch since only Barb and I had been there before. (If you remember we took Barbara when she came to visit last time. )

James and I went clothes shopping today. I got 5 shirts for $80!!! It was awesome! I only have 2 of the shirts pictured here and they need to be ironed....I took pictures of them when they were new and pretty but somehow they were deleted before I cleared my camera memory card...SORRY!!

Today was Jack's birthday party. It was a lot of fun! He had a Spiderman Bounce house with a water slide!

After the party we went to visit Johnny and then to dinner at Twisted Root. It is a hamburger place that was on Diners, Drive In's, and Dine's on Food Network. It was yummy! They give you a name of a famous person and call that name when your food is ready. We were Johnny Cash. I really wish I would have pulled the Isabella Swan name but someone else got that name. LOL

They have bumper stickers/stickers all over the place. I LOVED this one!

I got to go shopping for baby gifts for my little sister today! She is having a little girl towards the end of September. I am afraid my older sister and I went a tab over board...The below is not all we got. We ended up getting a changing pad terry cloth cover, 2 sheets, cradle bedding, cradle sheet, a homemade baby towel, a homemade baby blanket, waterproof sheet protectors x2, a bottle sterilizer....I think that is all. LOL
