This was made for me as a wedding gift. I love this thing. It has words of wisdom and bible versus to support the words of wisdom on it. It was made for me by a coworker. She had all my coworkers contribute if they wanted to. It really means a lot to me. I was asked by a coworker to take some pictures for her. She is wanting to make something similar for a friend.

We had a Halloween Potluck today at work and there was a costume contest!! Here are the winners.

So I thought I would be festive tonight and make Oreo Balls...yeah mine did not turn out as cute as these. They still tasted good though! It just gives me another reason to keep making them!!

I opted to go down and buy lunch today, I got a salad from Cafe Esprit. I love their taco salads...but I digress. When I got in the elevator to go down I noticed there was a sign saying that there was a bake sale on the 13th floor from 12-2. Luck just so has it that it was noon. So on my way back up from getting my salad I went to check it out.

They had tons of stuff. Cakes, cookies, rice crispy treats, cup cakes...you get the idea. Well they had these super cute Oreo balls that looked like pumpkins! I had to buy them! I even sweet talked them into giving me the recipe!! I plan on making them either tomorrow or this weekend.

Carter Blood Care comes and holds blood donations in the lobby of my building every 2 months. I go every time. I like knowing I helped to save someone else.

Well today did not go well. I got in the chair and they went to stick me and she messed it up...BAD. I got into the chair and she went to stick me. Well she didn't put it in my vein only the skin. Somehow she nicked the vein or something and blood was everywhere. This is what my arm looked like 3 hours later...
